How long do I have access to the course?

A year from when you purchased your course. 

 

What if I'm unhappy with my purchase?

Well, I would be sad :( Unfortunately, all prices are final and no refund will be given.

When should I do the course?

In the words of Shakira Shakira,  - Whenever and wherever!

Ideally the course should be done in 6 consecutive weeks. But sometimes life gets in the way and that's not always possible is it? So just do your best and pick up from where you left off. If it is a good few weeks in between, I would go back to the beginning and start again. This is so your body adjusts, as the course has been designed to get progressively harder over the 6 week period. 

 

I have existing injuries, is this course for me?

Yes it can be. HOWEVER, if you have any pre existing injuries or current injuries, then please consult your health care professional or doctor. Whilst this course has been designed to help you improve your body, it is up to you to look after it in the best way you can. Therefore, April Moon takes no responsibility if any injuries occur as a result of performing these exercises on this course. 

Please seek medical advice before starting this course.

Can I do this alongside my current workout routine?

Absolutely!

Footballers, golfers, weight lifters benefit massively from pilates and yoga. 

It helps to create strength, improves mobility and creates flexibility, plus the rest!

 

Which mat is best?

There are 2 types of mats. Pilates is usually thicker, which is designed to help cushion our bodies. Yoga mats are thinner and these are better for balance. It is your choice as to what you wish to buy and what is more comfortable for you.

 

I've never done pilates or yoga before, can I do this course?

Again, absolutely!

We go right back to basics at the start of the course, so it helps you to gain a better understanding of how the exercises work. 

 

I've been practicing pilates and/or yoga for years, is this course for me?

Again, absolutely!

You can always go back to basics and practice exercises.

It is good to start a course to keep you focused and on track. You can even start this course alongside your current pilates and/or yoga classes, to give you added strength and flexibility.

 

Is this course available in English only?

At the moment yes, but in the future this is something that will we will be looking to expand

 

I'm a man, can I do this course?

Of course! If you have a body, you can exercise. This is suitable for everyone and anyone :)

 

I work for the NHS, can I get a discount?

Of course! As a fellow NHS worker I know what it can be like and we love a NHS discount don't we?

I'm a man, can I do this course?
Men can suffer from diastasis recti too! So if you feel like you need to strengthen your core, please go ahead!

 

How sensitive is this course?
Extremely! There is no mention of little ones. 

 

How long after giving birth can I start this program?
It is vital that you get signed off medically by your health care professional, midwife or doctor. This will also depend on what type of birth you had. When they have agreed you can start exercising then go ahead! April Moon takes no responsibility for any injuries or complications that may occur as a result of practicing these exercises.

Zoom Pilates FAQ

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you can! Cancel your membership whenever you want on the membership page. Your access will end at the end of the current billing period.

 

I am a complete beginner, can I join in?

Of course! You can watch the video on how to find your neutral pelvis as this will stand you in good stead for future classes.

 

What will Pilates do for me?

EVERYTHING! Strengthens the back, works the core, relaxes tight muscles and is phenomenal for people who stand up all day, sit at a desk for long periods of time, or just wants to work on their posture and spin alignment. 

 

What's included?

A live 45 minute zoom class every Thursday 5:45-6:30pm. If you miss it, no problem! All the classes are recorded and uploaded onto here for you to view or repeat any time you wish!

I already attend Pilates classes, can I still join?

Yes of course. Pilates is fabulous for the body and the more you do, the stronger it gets! (In moderation obviously!)
